Stephen Curry had a heartfelt tribute in mind for his father, Dell, during Game 2 of the NBA Finals. Before flying to Toronto for the game, Stephen asked his father to pack one of his old Toronto Raptors jerseys. However, their plans were inadvertently “ruined” by Drake’s attention-seeking behavior. Drake showed up to Game 1 wearing the very same vintage Dell Curry Raptors jersey that Stephen had planned to wear for his tribute. Despite the setback, Dell took the situation in good humor and stated that it was all in good fun. He believes that Drake’s actions actually fueled the Warriors’ motivation to win the game in Toronto, which they successfully achieved.
